"Call to undefined method WFEditor::getParams() " error

Joomla is unable to overwrite some php files.
The most probable cause is that you manually modified them and uploaded back to the server through ftp with a different user or wrong permissions.
So check the ownership and permissions of the following files
/libraries/foxcontact/action/base.php
/libraries/foxcontact/design/base.php
and set them to 666 if unsure.
When done retry the update.

I confirm that WFEditor::getParams() is a known compatibility problem with JCE 2.7 and newer.
