"Call to undefined method WFEditor::getParams() " error was created by syeed
Hi,

Fox extension no longer works on my Joomla website.

ver 3.9.6.

i get the error message: Call to undefined method WFEditor::getParams()

Can you advise please.

Hi,

i've download the latest version foxcontact 3.9.6, installed it, but no possible to use it:

"create a contact page": error 0 Call to undefined method WFEditor::getParams()
"create a contact module": error0 Call to undefined method WFEditor::getParams()

what's wrong? please help!

Michael,
it's a compatibility problem with the latest version of JCE editor (2.7.x).
If you want to go on with your forms, just switch to a different editor in Joomla global options or in your user's profile.
Of course this is a temporary workaround. Rest assured we are working on a fix.

hi.

i also have this kind of problem.

may be because i'm using jce editor?

if i disable this editor, fox contact seems to be usable...

Thanks for that info.

I've disabled JCE and Fox contact works fine.

Must be a bug.

Still waiting to hear from Fox support!

Yes, it's confirmed, as explained in another thread .

Just update to the latest version 3.9.7 now available for download, which solves this compatibility problem with JCE 2.7.

I have the same problem.

I updated to Fox Contact 3.9.8 and get the error message: Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting inaccessible file base.php
and a error cross "Fehler bei der Bibliothek-Installation" (see Attachment) .

I am using Joomla 3.9.4 with Fox Contact 3.9.8 and JCE 2.7.7!

When I am using JCE JCE 2.7.7 Fox Contact tells me "Call to undefined method WFEditor::getParams() " error in the Backend?!?!
And in the Frontend I get: 0 - Call to undefined method FoxDesignItemAntispam::getHoneypotInputValue()

Any idea what I can do?
