I just installed Fox Contact Form (it was successful) and then I created a new Module to display a contact form on ONE of my pages. I tried everything to make this show up on my site (I only want it on ONE page of the site). The only way I can make it display is to choose "On all pages" in the Menu Assignment block. Then, it shows up on every page. When I unselect this and only choose a page or 2, it disappears. So, it appear to have nothing to do with the position I have chosen (i've also tried just about every position on the page). Is this a known bug or is something wrong? If you need me to, I can send you the site login info for you to see my problem.

Greg

UPDATE!!!
Actually, I found my problem and it is not yours (totally). There apparently is a conflict with Fox Contact Form and a Extension I am using on that page. That extension is called "Blank Component" - its a handy extension since it lets me build a page just using your module - due to my particular layout it prohibits me from using your Contact Page. So, its not your fault, but I sure wish there was an easy fix to make it compatible.
Thanks, and please consider this posting just a notification of incompatibility but, also a "wish" that your sw would be compatible with this other handy component.
Regards,
Greg

There is an easy way to do what you want to do without having to deal with that "Blank Component" thing.

  1. Create a blank Article, turn off all of the article stuff like "display print buttions, display author, etc" (you can use this blank article multiple times as well)
  2. Create a Menu - "Hidden Menu" (simply don't attach it to a module and it will essentially be active but not visible, hence hidden)
  3. Create an item inside of your new "Hidden Menu", choosing "Single Article" as the type.
  4. Attach the article to that item.
  5. Fox Contact, inside Menu Assignment, assign it to that hidden menu item

Now when you navigate to that hidden menu item, you will see the Fox Contact form and nothing else.

Here is a screenshot of the Menu Assignment box with a "Hidden Menu" created:

I also don't understand the need for "that Blank Component thing".
Does the following not work? -
Assign your Fox module to a non-existent template position, eg. "fox".
On the page where you want it, put {loadposition fox}.
