Hi Guys,

My Client has been missing some contact emails as they are being flagged as spam. The emails are being sent with the following:

From: First Last admin@mydomain.com
Date: 27 September 2017 at 17:07:23 BST
To: admin@mydomain.com
Subject: Enquiry received through Habitus Interior Design Glasgow by First Last
Reply-To: First Last myname@useremail.com

Where First Last is the name of the person enquiring and admin@mydomain.com is the site email address from the global config and myname@useremail.com is the email address of the user enquiring.

Could this be being flagged up due to the From email address not matching the person who actually enquired i.e. First Last myname@useremail.com

Any help would be most welcome. I have read http://www.fox.ra.it/forum/enquiries-processors/11005-set-the-sender-of-the-notification-emails.html and the email address set as the global email address is not associated with a user account.

Can anyone help with this please? The client does not use the admin panel within the site so the only method for reading and replying to the emails is through email.

Obviously, they are being flagged as spam as the send from address is appearing spoofed as it is being sent from her own email address but with someone else's name (the person trying to contact her).

Hello Donna,
spam problems are caused by incorrect server and domain settings.

I didn't find Fox Contact at the URL indicated.
I've found another contact form, and I've tested it.
The result is really poor (2/10): https://www.mail-tester.com/web-8vkou
This confirm a bad server configuration.

If you create a contact form with Fox Contact, I can test it as well. The result could be different.
Please tell us when done, and the URL of the new contact form.

I have had to use another extension due to the lack of response on the support forum and the fact that messages were incorrectly being flagged as spam resulting in poor customer experience.

The email delivery reliability is still 2/10, which is exceptionally poor.
Do you know whether your email are still marked as spam?
